The ‘Holiday’s Are Coming’ to Chester this Christmas with the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck paying a visit to the city.

UPDATE: Confirmed as below, the 3rd of December midday til 8pm on Eastgate Street.

Despite it still just being October thoughts are moving towards Christmas, with the very popular Coke Truck popping to Chester to spread festive joy, and a corporate soft drink advertising message.

The truck will be in Chester on Thursday, December 3rd, with full details being revealed in the coming weeks.

Throughout the day visitors will be able to have their photo taken with the truck as well as having the chance to enjoy a sample Coca-Cola or Diet Coke. Sample drinks will not be given to children under the age of 12, however the Coca-Cola website states: “At the truck stops, we are happy to give parents a Coca-Cola or Diet Coke to pass to their child at their discretion.”

The Coca-Cola Christmas trucks are created by agency W.B. Doner for a new seasonal advertising campaign. Known as ‘Christmas Caravans’, the illuminated lorries are made more enchanting with special effects by the world-famous Industrial Light and Magic, the company behind the Star Wars films.

Previously the truck has visited Broughton Retail Park creating mayhem in the carparks and surrounding roads – bringing the A55 to a standstill.
