Chester Christmas Market

The Chester Christmas market is traditionally held outside the Town hHall and Forum Shopping Centre in the heart of Chester City Centre and entry is free . It runs from early December until Christmas Eve from 10:00am – 6pm 7 days a week.

The Christmas market is a great place to find some unique Christmas presents as well as try some festive food and drink such as mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, sweets and cheeses.  To coincide with the market there is often a lantern parade through the City Centre and Chester Cathedral hosts a carol service.  There is the chance to meet Santa in his grotto as well as many other events and attractions in the run up to Christmas.

There is no free parking at the market but there are car parks near by, the main bus station in Chester is just behind the market and Chester’s train station is a 15 minuet walk from the Market.

More details on the stalls and entertainment will be posted here later in the year when they are announced.
