Highways Agency have said the M56 is blocked with stationary traffic eastbound J14, A5117 (Hapsford) and J12 after a ‘serious multi-vehicle accident’.

UPDATE: Police have confirmed three vehicles have been involved in the incident. Thankfully no serious injuries have been reported.
One person on the road has been in touch to say around five vehicles have been involved in the incident.
