Grosvenor Precinct Evacuated As Fire Crews Respond To Smell

Shoppers have been evacuated from the Grosvenor Precinct just before 1pm today.

Keiran Singh tweeted the above picture to @ShitChester asking “Any idea what’s happened on Bridge Street? 5 fire engines now!”

Rob added: “5 fire tenders on Bridge St in @ShitChester and Grosvenor Precinct evacuated!”

It is believed a ‘chemical smell’ trigged an ‘alert process’ which meant the fire service was dispatched.
