A man arrested by Chester officers following a 10-hour stand-off in Blacon has been charged with a total of eight offences.
Ricky Jones, 26, of Durham Road, Blacon, was initially arrested in the early hours of Thursday 14 April following an incident at an address on Stratford Road.
Following questioning Jones was charged with affray, racially aggravated public order and two counts of criminal damage.
In addition Jones was also charged with aggravated burglary with intent, assault, theft from a shop and threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.
All of the additional charges relate to incidents in North Wales.
Jones is set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court later today, Friday 15th April.
